Well, just one week to go and today I “crossed the Rubicon” and as they say “alea iacta est” (the die is cast)! The decision on what to pack and not to pack has been made. 😱😅 I have been quite ruthless with clothes and even the shoe total has been reduced down to six pairs for me (plus two pairs of walking/hiking shoes) and four for Simon (including one pair of walking/hiking shoes). Well, he is a man after all and men never need as many clothes or shoes as us women. If only we could be more like men ………… a couple of pairs of trousers, shorts, some shirts, t-shirts and ‘boom’, they’re done. It’s so much more complicated for women ………. well for this woman at least! 😒 If there are any women reading this blog who are indeed like men when it comes to packing, then I salute you! 🙇♀️😀👍
Anyway, my furrowed brow is no more,😀 the gin bottle has been returned to the fridge, Simon has come out from behind the sofa, where he’s been hiding for a few days 😱 and I can now relax and look forward to our trip.

Fraught times indeed! 😂 Still, all worth it in the end. We are revisiting old haunts this time. Flying into Vegas for a few days then, via Salt Lake City, on to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone before returning to Vegas for a couple of days and home.

Ha, ha, it’s crazy! I don’t want to take too much but then I worry that I’ll get there and regret not taking something. I only took five pairs of shoes when we did our ‘big’ trip! Saw the videos of your concert. It looked great. Bet your Dad wasn’t happy about you going to St. Mary’s. 😱Hope you told him how great it is!!! 😉 Have a great holiday. 😘 xx
