Things Are Coming Together!

We have now completed our provisional itinerary. Although our intention is to book accommodation as we travel, we have already booked places that usually book up well in advance or who had offers we just couldn’t refuse!!! These being in Luray in the Shenandoah area of Virginia, Sante Fe in New Mexico, Las Vegas in Nevada and Forks (home of all things Twilight!) in Washington State.

Simon’s new camera has arrived and together with his new wide-angled lens (a Nikon 12-24m), we hope to have some great landscape photographs to post here.

We are Sandra and Simon Barrett and to celebrate our joint retirements are planning an extended tour of the United States.

We have been visiting the USA for the last 25 years and have seen most of the popular tourist attractions, our favourite being Las Vegas. We now plan to drive from the Atlantic to the Pacific coasts and back again, visiting as many National Parks as we can along the way together with other places of interest we have not seen before.
