So, one week to go, everything’s sorted, the practice pack has taken place and everything’s tickety boo (good). 🧳👏

Once again, choosing what to pack has been complicated. It will be hot in Las Vegas, currently in the 90’s, 🩳👙while in the Tetons, it’s likely to be freezing 🥶in the mornings rising to about the mid 60’s 🌞in the afternoons, so a mixture of clothes has been necessary. 🧢🧤🧣.

I think I’ve packed well, but if extra duds (clothes) are required, then the relevant purchases will have to be made. 🤷‍♀️Well, show me a woman who doesn’t enjoy a shopping trip! 😂  

I’ve just checked the forecast and rain is currently forecast in Las Vegas for the first two days of our trip!!! ☔️Surely not! It usually only rains between 20-30 days per year. We will have to be very unlucky if two of those days happen when we are there. 😔

It was in September 2023 that heavy rain led to major flooding on the famous Strip and the National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings. 😱

Please keep everything crossed for us. 🤞

Another year, another visit to the U.S.A! 🇺🇸

So, what do we have in-store this year? 🧐

We are returning to our favourite place in America …………. the Grand Tetons in Wyoming, via Las Vegas, of course! 👏

The reason for our late visit this year is so that we can experience the Fall in the Tetons. We have never visited there at that time of year, so are looking forward to seeing some wonderful colours.

We arrive in Las Vegas (that’s a surprise!) on 15th September and start our holiday at the Park MGM. That’s the hotel where, back in 2023, we had a fantastic win on the final morning of our holiday.

We haven’t been so lucky during our past couple of visits but, fingers crossed, this will once again be our lucky year! 🤞😉

We will also be spending some time at the Bellagio Hotel. I hear the cheese plate calling to me once again!

From the Tetons we will  travel back to Las Vegas for three nights before flying home.
