Well, just one week to go and today I “crossed the Rubicon” and as they say “alea iacta est” (the die is cast)!ย The decision on what to pack and not to pack has been made. ๐ฑ๐ ย I have been quite ruthless with clothes and even the shoe total has been reduced down to six pairs for me (plus two pairs of walking/hiking shoes) and four for Simon (including one pair of walking/hiking shoes). Well, he is a man after all and men never need as many clothes or shoes as us women. If only we could be more like men ………… a couple of pairs of trousers, shorts, some shirts, t-shirts and ‘boom’, they’re done.ย It’s so much more complicated for women ย ………. well for this woman at least!ย ๐ If there are any women reading this blog who are indeed like men when it comes to packing, then I salute you! ๐โโ๏ธ๐๐
Anyway, my furrowed brow is no more,๐ย the gin bottle has been returned to the fridge, Simon has come out from behind the sofa, where he’s been hiding for a few days ๐ฑ and I can now relax and look forward to our trip.
We hope you will join us on our next journey down the ‘holiday road!’
Press to play and sing along!
