Day 21 – Las Vegas – On Our Way Home!

Days travelling home are always so tiring! We just want to get on the plane and be home in an hour! But that’s not going to happen! ๐Ÿ˜’ย โœˆ๏ธ

We had arranged for late check-out today, 3.00 p.m. So, it was a slow start and after breakfast, we packed up the few things we had unpacked and headed out for a little gambling. We did okay, but we are not coming home with the $13,000 we did a couple of years ago. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

We are now at the airport, check-in doesn’t open until 6.00 p.m. We’ve already checked-in on-line. We just need to hand over the cases. We shouldn’t have any problems like we dd last year with the weight. This year we’ve made sure that the large cases are packed with exactly the same things as when we came out.

I’ve packed all new purchases in my smaller carry-on suitcase and that will be checked into the hold.

After we’ve handed over the bags we are will be off to the lounge until our flight at 10.00 p.m. (6.00 a.m. UK time).

A very nice gentleman called Jeffrey dealt with us. He was such a chatterbox, that we were with him for 45 minutes and we were the only people he served! ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธHe was so funny. ๐Ÿ˜‚We basically heard his life story and he said he would be at the gate, so he would give us priority boarding, after the wheelchairs. He told us all kinds of tricks to get priority treatment, including getting a wheelchair for Si! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿฆฝโ€โžก๏ธย ๐Ÿ˜‚ We didn’t think we were ever going to get away. ๐Ÿ˜€

So, that’s about it for today folks. I will catch you all up on how our flight was when we get home tomorrow – jet lag permitting! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Si, passing the time, editing photos

As always, thanks for following our journey. ๐Ÿค—
